Samsung has revealed their rather impressive processor which could be coming to a tablet in 2012. The processor features two cores running at 2GHz apiece.
The Samsung Exynos 5250 features two Cortex-A15 chips clocked at 2GHz. For any processor geeks out there, the System-on-Chip is made using a 32nm low power HKMG process.
The processor will be able to output an exceptionally high resolution of 2560×1600 pixels. It also supports stereoscopic 3D displays.
This is clearly Samsung’s attempt to rival the four-cored Tegra 3 processor. It could be coming to high-end tablets, and mass production will begin in 2012. But, with TI soon to introduce their next processor, the OMAP5, who will come out top?
