Nook Color puts down books and picks up ICS port

One of the most popular e-Reader/Tablet combos of 2010, the Nook Color has consistently been a device which developers have laboured to port new iterations of Android to. ICS is no different. XDA developers dalingrin and fattire are two such developers.

In the initial stages of development, this port already has a number of things going for it. The list currently has these features functioning:

* bluetooth (pairing/file transfer only confirmed)
* wifi (full it seems but it’s brand-new to the kernel so who knows how stable anything is)
* backlight
* accelerometer
* improved stability (but not perfect)
* gapps
* setcpu/overclock
* real data usage info (not stubbed out)
* battery levels/charging
* physical menu button
* touchscreen
* 3d games
* usb gadget in kernel (adb debugging shows up) *with experimental kernel*

Check out the XDA thread and try it for yourself!
