After the Nexus S got an Ice Cream Sandwich port using the SDK released from Google, other users must have felt left out. Well today thanks to jdkoreclipse the HTC Thunderbolt received a very early Ice Cream Sandwich Port. He used a guide made by siulmagic who ported ICS onto his G2.
Well I did say it was ported but that doesn’t exactly mean it works. What does work is it will boot as well as the lights, and sensors will work. Wi-Fi may work but it was not able to be tested because the touchscreen did not work and they could not turn it on. With the touchscreen not working also the camera, audio, and data do not function properly. This is a pre-alpha build and will likely get better.

Please do not try to boot it unless you know how to get back to stock or phone will become practically unusable. Want more info visit RootzWiki.
