Got ICS and Want To Remove the Google Search Bar?

If you own a Galaxy Nexus then this will be of relevance to you.

Google have decided to add a search bar on every homescreen and unfortunately there appears to be no real way of removing it unless….

That’s right, it can be removed – though at the expense of the Google search app and here’s how:

Go into Settings > Apps > All > Google Search and hit Disable.
