Even though we almost knew everything about the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime, minus a few specifications, Asus have given full specifications for the device. The detailed specs were put on Nvidia’s website when they announced their Tegra 3 processor.
The highlight of the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime, as practically everyone knew, is the Tegra 3 Kal-El processor. Apart from that, the device has 1GB of RAM, an 8MP rear camera and a 1.2MP front camera. Screen-wise, it is quite impressive: it has a 10.1 inch Super IPS screen at a resolution of 1280×800. It comes with either 32GB or 64GB capacities, and of course, living up to the Transformer name, the device can be plugged in to the keyboard dock.
It is a very nice looking device, and it is an impressively skinny 8.3mm thin. The device will launch with 3.2, but an Ice Cream Sandwich update will come very quickly to the device.
“So, this is all very well, but what about the cost?” I hear you ask. Only US launch dates and prices have been announced, and this is $500 for the 32GB version, and a launch date of December.
