Android Powered I’m Watch

If you are reading this on our low format RSS feed then you are probably wondering what the hell this post is all about, and understandably too I would say.

im_watch_fancy Italian company I’m Watch have produced an Android powered watch that acts a phone via bluetooth as well.

I have to admit that this has me very excited if for no other reason than “look at the fancy colours”.

So what do we have spec wise for this Custom “close to” Android 1.6 powered watch?

  • Height: 55 mm
  • Width: 40 mm
  • Depth: 9 mm
  • Weight: 70 grams
  • 4GB Internal Memory
  • 64MB RAM
  • IMX233 CPU
  • 1:54 inch colour TFT display
  • 240×240 pixel resolution
  • 220 ppi (pixels per inch)
  • Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR
  • Built-in rechargeable 600 mA Li-Po battery
  • Charging via USB to computer system or power adapter
  • Bluetooth connection without Standby time: up to 48 hours
  • Bluetooth connection with standby time: up to 30 hours
  • Talk time with Speakerphone: up to 2 hours
  • Time for other uses: up to 2 hours
  • 3.5 mm headphone, and power connection minijack
  • Microphone
  • Built-in speaker

No it’s not the most fantastic specs in the world and the battery specs are pretty poor but lets remember folks, this is a watch… not a phone in its own right.
