The 360 Panorama app from Occipital has only been usable on iOS - and that has been quite a disappointment for some who desire this feature and who are excited for the native-panorama feature found in ICS. Well now, Occipital has made the app available on the Android Market for devices running Android 2.3.4 and above, but for some reason Honeycomb isn’t compatible.

To use, you simply pan the camera and watch as images are populated seamlessly - no need to line up the previous photo so you can take the next one. And it would seem that exposure auto-magically adjusts as well. This version doesn’t use the gyroscope, but instead simulates one via motion-tracking algorithms. If you already have an Occipital account you can use it on your Android device as well - keeping all your photos in the same place.
